Featured Allergen
Ragweed, also known as Western Ragweed, Perennial Ragweed or Ambrosia psilostachya. Ragweed is one of the worst culprits for allergy symptoms. Ragweed produces bright golden flowers on single stemmed plants. Ragweeds have small green flowers that release copious amounts of pollen freely into the wind. Because of the yellow flowers, Ragweed produces, they are often mistaken for Goldenrod. And in the case of mistaken identity, Goldenrod gets a bad name when it produces far less pollen as it is pollinated by wind and insects.
